ABOUT DID ME IN.

Those emotions though!! I was legitimately worried that there wouldn’t be a satisfying/happy ending but good havens, it came through at the final hour. I really liked the faith elements and sentiments included in this one. They were relatable and not over the top and made you feel that depth of despair and hope.

I loved all of these characters. The strength of self to continue pressing forward and making the best moves from what lay in front of you. I would have LOVED Drew’s perspective too, but that’s okay. Charles and Cecily were wonderful stories to follow.

I really enjoyed learning about both timelines and did a bit of googling after because my history nerd self wanted even more. I loved well researched historical novels!!

These was very romantic, heartfelt, and filled with forgiveness and courage. Another wonderful story for this series and not one to miss!

OH THIS BOOK.

I admit that this took me a little to get into but that ending?? The romance?? Got me in the FEEEELS. Now, it does seem a little insta-ish, but let it grow on you!! Trust the journey y’all.

My historical nerd self went down many a Jack the Ripper research hole after finishing this book. I love historical books that make me want to research. And I love reading historicals that cover different time periods than I generally come across.

And I adored the FMC, Kate. She was strong willed and learning but always seemed to genuinely be trying to take the next right step and I loved her courage. There were many good twists to the plot that ramped up my engagement as the pages moved. I also really adored the romance. It brought the swoon and the passion and the I would do anything to see you happy vibes that I am all over. We love a a man DOWN BAD.

I think this is easily one of my favorites of this whole series now and I have loved seeing the crossing timelines, family trees and all of the touches of faith too. What an incredible book.

BEAUTIFUL.

This book found me at a great time (and low point) in my year when I needed reminded of some very key facts about life. I loved the faith themes woven throughout about forgiveness and making positive choices and the right ones for your own life. It came together in this powerful way that resonating across the plot in those final chapters. I was surprised by some of those moments (in a good way) that they took a direction I wasn’t expecting.

I thought the romance plot for this book was awesome. I appreciate that every book has a different feel with the romance and that it’s not repetitive. This allowed space for a nice platonic friendship and a romantic swoony one too. I loved the side characters and all of the well researched historical aspects too. I loved seeing Caroline’s growth and self discovery and her resilient nature to figure out key elements of her past.

Another fabulous book for this series you won’t want to miss.

A CONTINUALLY GOOD SERIES.

I love the exploration of history with each book in this series. This one crossed the birth of aviation and the Salem Witch Trials. I liked seeing the comparisons and differences between the time periods and how each woman, Grace and Hope, interpreted what was happening.

I did think it had a little bit of a slow start. The 1692 chapters didn’t have the same pace as the 1912 ones and I kept wanting to get back to those. After the halfway point I though the plot started moving much better and I wanted to hustle to find out what happens next.

There’s always sweet romances woven in and I loved the way they both played out for the twins. I loved the love interests and the support and care they provided Grace and Hope through their trials. It’s all very sweet and heartfelt and only adds to the story.

I enjoyed many of the moments coming full circle with collision of past and present. I loved the faith aspects and the infused hope and love that was in this book. I can’t wait for more!
